unreal

This video really shook me up. The saddest part for me was not the tears, rather the lack of them. How it has become so "normal" so to speak, the reaction of the families is almost business-like on the surface. On the in side you know what their going through, but on the outside it almost robotic how they go through the motions.
I remember an article written after Ilan Ramon, the first Israeli astronaut, was killed in the Columbia explosion. The writer noted how sad it is to realize what little affect Ramon's death had on us, being that we're so "used to" the fact of Jews being killed every day during the intifada. When Ramon was killed, he says, he realized that the arab terrorists had not only taken away countless lives from us, they have even taken our ability to mourn.
NOw THAT is tough. real tough.

Ahem - Why is it Tov Achshav?! Bruce is saying how our situation sucks and you're not recognizing that sad reality!!

Zeh Yihyeh Tov... In other ways it may be cool. But Brucy-pumpkin'chky'zeeskeit is absolutely right about that.
