Thank G-d For Research! (NPI;)



Under a column called "Findings" in today's New York Times' science section a reporter confirms that two Psychologists "have reviewed eight decades of research and concluded that religious belief and piety promote self-control!

He asks some interesting questions, such as: What came first? Observance or self discipline? What does prayer and meditation do to you brain? And why belief in G-d is imperative to self control. (i.e. Why the world must accept the first of the 7 Mitzvos in order to live by the rest of 'em)
